These site specific works are part of an ongoing series inspired by rain chains, a clever Japanese invention that channels run-off water from roof to ground. By providing a structure for droplets to adhere, rain chains break the fall of run-off water and create a theatre of flow. The works elegantly bridge ceiling and ground with modest silhouettes and economical constructions.

Enrique Garcia (b. 1995, Brownsville, Tx) is a sculptor living and working in Brooklyn, New York. Through sculpture, photography, and found object, his work explores the porosity of urban space and its relationship to order, control, and desire.
